Wonders of Jordan (Classic Tour)
Day 1: Arrival Amman
. Arrival at Queen Alia international Airport. Meet and assist by our representative before immigration counter. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Amman – Jerash – Bait Alkhairat – Amman Tour
Golden age city came under Roman rule, during which time it was known as Gerasa, and the site is now generally acknowledged to be one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world.
Your visit to Jerash would not be complete without a mug of hot acorn coffee! This no caffeine drink is a unique creation of the ladies of Beit Khairat.
Beit Khairat Souf is women run and employees over 25 women from the area. They have adopted an environmentally conscience policy, whereby no food is wasted. All leftover food meals are shared with the less fortunate and even food scraps are given to the neighborhood animals.
Day 3: Amman – Madaba – Nebo- Dead sea (Entrance with Lunch) – Petra
Thousands of years of biblical history reveal themselves today on a visit to Mt. Nebo where you will see what Moses saw when he looked out over the Promised Land. Continue to Madaba for a visit to St. George Greek Orthodox Church where the remains of the oldest known map of the Holy Land. At the Mosaic School you will learn how to manufacture a piece to takeaway as a coaster or small tableau.
Day 4: Petra (Lunch in Site)
. Travel to a magnificent red rose city dating back to the 1st century BC. Ancient master builders carved palaces, temples, tombs and more into the stone cliffs you will see here today have a lunch a local restaurant, before returning to your hotel for afternoon at leisure and overnight.
Day 5: Petra – Wadi Rum – QAIA
Take a morning excursion to the otherworldly landscapes of Wadi Rum, known as the Valley of the Moon for the lunar-like dunes and towering sandstone cliffs found here. Exploring by 4×4 vehicle. Then transfer to QAIA to catch your late departure flight .
